From Fear to Faith

Hello Dear Friends,  Hope you are having a blessed day.

Have you ever taken a leap of faith in life and trusted someone or something to let it all work out.  I will give you an example.  A man went mountain climbing on a steep mountain and he had someone on the ground holding his rope so if he lost his grip the man on the ground could hold and support him so he did not plummet to the ground.  Now if you think about the man on the ground, the mountain climber had to know him and trust him and know that he is completely reliable to save the climber if he fell.  So I don't think he just had anyone holding his rope, he had to be someone whom he was very familiar with and knew exactly what kind of man he was. You want to make sure this person has no ill will against you.

In the same sense, when we have a relationship with the Lord, we have to completely trust Him that He will not let us fall.  For us to have that faith and trust in the Lord we must know him.  We must know what kind of God He is.  Is He reliable, trustworthy, we must be familiar to who He is and what manner of person He is.

You must also know what He thinks about you.  Below is a scripture that explains what exactly the Lord thinks about you.

Jeremiah 29:11-13
For I know well the plans I have in mind for you, places for your welfare and not for woe, so as to give you a future of hope.  When you call me, and come and pray to me.  I will listen to you.  When you look for me, you will find me.  Yes, when you seek me with all your heart, you will find me.

Faith and trust in God is what our Christian walk is all about.  We should not be fearful, we should change fear to faith.  One definition of faith over fear is doing what your feelings say you cannot do but God says you can do it.

Hebrews 11:1-3,6
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.  This is what the ancients were commended for.  By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Every fearful believer can, with the help of God's Holy Spirit, become courageous.  We can chose to trust and love God in all circumstances and experience God's love in your hearts.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through him who gives me strength.

The definition of fear:
An unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain or a threat.

Terror, fright, fearfulness, horror, alarm or panic.

Having fear can be a very emotional and a scary thing to go through.  Who would want to live like that every day.  Faith is the total opposite, faith will abound if you trust the Lord.

The definition of faith:
Complete trust or confidence in someone or something, to be restored in one's faith, Strong belief in God

Trust, believe, confidence, conviction and optimism.

After reading the definition of faith, I believe faith and trusting in the Lord for all situations in life will get you through and you will not be alone in it.
Isaiah 45:5
I am the Lord and there is no other; apart from me there is no God.  I will strengthen you.

Jeremiah 16:19
Lord, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress.

I think it takes a leap of faith and great courage to trust someone, it also takes that same courage to trust the Lord God Almighty.  I want you to know that God will never fail you, He will never leave you or forsake you.  You can count on Him and trust Him completely.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave your nor forsake you.

Matthew 6:26-28
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable than they?  Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

We need to understand that God is greater than the source of fear.  We need to let fear decrease and faith increase.    The way we can do this is have a closer walk with God, and His Word which will give us strength and guide our path.

When we are aware of the presence and love of Jesus fear can not control us.

Romans 8:37-39
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Perfect love drives out all fear.  Where does this perfect love come from it comes from God as it can never come from within ourselves.  Love comes directly from the heart of our Lord and King.

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love.  But perfect love drives out fear.  Because fear had to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Make room for God in your daily life, in prayer and dedicated to the Word of God, and praising the Lord with all your heart.

Have faith in the Lord and know you are truly loved and fear will leave  you and faith will rise up in you.

Remember faith comes from believing in God and trusting Him for all things.

God Bless you all.

Who is God?

Who is God?

Have you ever asked yourself who is God?  What can He do for me?  I would like to talk to you today about God and who He is and what He can do for you.  I have had a relationship with the Lord for many many years and I can tell you from first hand the Lord has been many things for me at different times in my life.  I want to share some of my experiences with the Lord.  Also what He has done for me in my life.

I would like to share with you about my life.  My life started in May 11, 1967.  I was born with a disease called Hypopituitary dwarfism.  At 6 months old I stop growing and developing.  My parents took me to the doctors and they did not know what it was that was causing it.  After many years in and out of the hospital they figured it out.  It was Hypopituitary dwarfism.  Which meant I would not grow at all.  I would never be able to have children because I would not produce the hormones needed.  I would probably have a learning disability.  I would have a very low immune system and several other issues.  At the time I was diagnosed this was a new disease that had come out and scientists and doctors where already looking for a cure.  I remember that I was 3 feet for a very long time.  I was told I probably would be a dwarf for the rest of my life.  It was a bleak future that I was looking at through my eyes.   I can tell you it could have turned out really bad but the Lord was with me at all times.  I started on growth hormone shots to help me grown and other medication to help my body where my body was not naturally producing.  I have to say it is by the grace of God that brought me through all of this.

At the age of 18 I was going through a very hard time in my life emotionally.  I remember that summer my cousin came over and talked to me about the Lord and he asked me if I asked Jesus into my heart.  He asked me if I wanted to a true relationship with the Lord and that He can help you so much in your life.  That night I asked the Lord to forgive me of all my sins and I asked the Lord to come into my heart.  That moment changed my life forever it truly turned my life completely around.

Now I know if it was not for the Lord being with me as a child my life could have took a drastic turn for the worse.  But He had plans for me and loved me from the moment He formed me.

I want you to know the Lord that rescued me can rescue you.

Another time in my life when I was 21 years old.  I went to the doctors and they could not understand knowing my history of Hypopituitary dwarfism they could not understand how I could function with the disease I had.  They could not figure it out. so they where so confound with it they decided to do a Brain Scan.  They believed the reason I was functioning was because I had a massive brain tumor. Before they even did the Brain Scan they were telling me I probably had weeks to live because it must have grown so much in my brain.  So I went home and told my family that I might have weeks to live.  Both I and my family where very upset.  All I remember is praying to the Lord and asking Him to save me from death.  The Lord blessed me beyond measure that I did not have a brain tumor. The Lord healed it and made it disappear.

I am sharing with you what my Father has done for me and how he has showered me with loving mercy and grace.  He has always been my healer, tower of strength and refuge and my best and trusted friend.

I want you to know that what the Lord has done for me He can do for you.  I can tell you I have many more stories like this in my life time and He as always brought me through.

So who is God?   Think about it.  Who is God to you.  I know who He is to me but who is He to you? If you can think back in your life when things where not going so well can you see someone was there with you helping you through.

Even right now if you are going through something that is more than you can handle I can tell you there is someone who can help you with it.

If you need a savior, a healer, a confidant, a hero, a strong tower a great refuge in the time of need.

If you have not asked Jesus into your life I would like to help you.

Here is a simple pray for you to pray.

Dear Lord,
I ask you to forgive me of all my sins, I ask that you purify my heart and come into my life and be my Savior and King.  Guide my life and be in my heart.  Show me your ways.

In Jesus name.

If you have prayed this prayer I would like to help you in any way I can please contact me by
email newhopeforeveryday@yahoo.com.

God bless you all.

Trust the one who loves you.

People often think God is not with us today?  If you look at this world people think it is going to hell in a hand basket.  It makes you question yourself and wonder does God see all this.  Some may say in all this craziness where is the Lord.  I can tell you exactly where He is.  God is always with you and me. The Lord God Almighty is always in the NOW no matter what is going on in this world, your country, your city or your personal life, God is there with you.  Below are a few scriptures that confirms that God is always with you, no matter where you are in life.

2 Corinthians 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Psalms 139:1-10
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.  You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.  You discern my going out and my lying down;  you are familiar with all my ways.  Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.  You hem me in behind and before and you lay your hand upon me.  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.  Where can I go from your Spirit?  Where can I flee from your presence?  If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bead in the depths, you are there.  If i rise on the wings of the dawn, you are there.  If I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold fast.

What you need to know is that God is always with us no matter where we are in life, or where the world is.  God knows, and God sees all.  Remember He is your strength and is always in the NOW with you.

The reason I am making this clear statement is I want you to have faith in the one who created you. You need to know God is here with you at all times.  For you to believe this you must have faith. Faith is the basis for trusting the Lord.  Also I want you to know that the Great and Almighty God loves you.

Psalms 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

1 John 4:10-12
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sings.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.  No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.

Psalms 13:5
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.

Psalms 17:7
Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.

Mark 11:22-26
Have faith in God, Jesus answered.  Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, Go throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.  And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

Matthew 17:19-21
Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, Why couldn't we drive it out?  He replied "because you have so little faith.  Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there" and it will move.  Nothing will be impossible for you.

Live by Faith

Live by Faith

Hebrews 11:1-3
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.  This is what the ancients were commended for.  By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Hebrews 10:38
Now the just shall live by faith; but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hebrews 10:38
But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

If we are to please God, have a good life and have a relationship with the Lord we must live by faith.  The Christian life is a life of faith, hope and putting your trust in God.  This faith is much more than mere belief but rather a confident action.

Faith knows only one direction, forward.  If you backslide or wander from truth and joy, it is a lack of faith.  Faith is key to having joy and peace.

Romans 10:17
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the Word of God.

If faith comes by hearing and hearing by preaching the Word of God, then preaching about faith should work.   We must read the Word so we can grow in faith.  We also need to be taught the Word by going to church and listening to our pastor.  Your pastor has his own faith which will come through his preaching.  Each person has their own level of faith and different life happenings that have grown their faith.  Your faith is particularly based on you and your own life, beliefs and trust in God.

Faith is not something we need to learn: it is something we need to exercise, by taking a leap of faith and trust in God.  Life is a roller coaster ride,  we all have ups and downs in life.  Afflictions and trial will come.  Are you ready for them?  Strong faith will not faint in adversity.  Strong faith keeps God's commandments, believes every Word of God, and trusts His promises.   Faith is a strong confidence in the promises of God.

Faith believes God so strongly that things hoped for become real and the invisible becomes seen.  Faith trusts God completely.  True faith is much more than bare belief, for its results in action

Galatians 5:6
For I Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value.  The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

God has called us to a life of active obedience by faith, not bare belief.  Faith believes every Word of God without question or compromise.
Isaiah 8:20
Consult God's instruction and the testimony of warning.  If anyone does not speak according to this Word, they have no light of dawn.
Faith believes the Bible of what He has done, what we should do and what He will do.  Faith pleases God, and you cannot please God without faith; consider Enoch and faith.
Hebrews 11:5-6
By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death;  He could not be found, because God had taken him away.  For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.  And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
Love is greater than faith, for the Word of God declares it.  But faith is the foundation.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.  But the greatest of these is love.
We live and walk by faith, not by sight. Therefore, we act different than any others.

2 Corinthians 5:7
For we live by faith, not by sight.

Faith has four points
1.  Obey the Word of God and keep its commandments
2.  Pray to the Lord with all your heart.
3.  Deepening your trust in God
4.  Have outright visible faith

Pray with Joy

Pray with Joy

There are many ways to pray to the Lord.  I have read this scripture verse and thought I would do a little message on it.   It is Philippian’s 1:3-5. I can tell you when you pray to the Lord it will bring you joy and peach.

Philippians 1:3-6
I thank my God every time I remember you.  In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy. Because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this that He who began a good works in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

1.     Remembering what God has done for you.

Philippians 1:3
I thank my God every time I remember you
Nothing brings more exciting and joy when you remember what the Lord has done for you.  When you think about what God has done for you, your family and the people around you it brings out a heart of joy and thanksgiving.

2.     Praying about opportunities for  ministry and services
Philippians 1:5
Because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
Prayer is exciting when you prayer for future opportunities and plans.  We truly believe that God answers all prayers, then we can have a joyful expectation of good things to come.  It helps to know that your prayer actually means something.  Whether you are planning to go on a mission trip or getting more involved in church you can start by coming to God with a great expectation.  Remember when you step out in faith, prayer is the first step.

3.      Thinking about God’s promises
Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Remember that God is a very faithful God and keeps His promises to you.  Knowing that God is faithful and He is the one at work in your life should bring you great excitement.  Learn to depend on God’s faithfulness and promises it will free you up to live a life of  joy in a relationship with Jesus.  So when you pray don’t worry God’s got everything under control!!  God’s promises have a way of bringing joy even in the most discouraging times.

Strength Comes From the Lord

Strength Comes From the Lord

Have you every been so beaten down by life and trials that you feel you don't have any strength to keep your head up?  Have you felt overwhelmed by life situations that you consider yourself weak and you think you can never get enough strength to get through this?

I can tell you that in my life I have had situations and health issues in my life that I was thinking how can I ever get through this.  I will give you an example. I have heart issues I have had 2 heart attacks and 14 surgeries to clean out my arteries in my heart and I have six stints in my heart.

I remember one time I was in the operating room and I started to get really nervous and scared and I have had several of these surgeries already so they were common in my life.  But for what ever reason this one time I was really nervous and scared.

The surgical assistant Tom who knew me because of my several trips to the operating room.  He took my blood pressure and it was very high and he said we can't operate on you until you calm down and relax and bring your blood pressure down.  So I was at the point where I was sick of having heart issues, sick of being in the hospital and I was depressed and I have no strength to get through this.  How can I relax and bring my blood pressure down.  Well I told Tom give me five minutes, he asked me what are you going to do?  I told him the only thing I can do pray.  He laughed and said ok.  I started to pray and ask the Lord I can't get through this unless you help me.  I have no strength and courage to grab onto in my own strength.  Can you please help me I need you, I need your strength.

As I was praying Tom started laughing and asked a few of the assistants to come and see. As I was praying I didn't realize my blood pressure  was slowly coming down.  They were kind of amazed.  Finally my blood pressure was down even to do the surgery.  That was one of the surgeries that I was freaking out and very scared.  After the surgery the assistant came to check on me with one of the other assistants named Bernadette they came to see me and they told me during the whole surgery I was calling out saying Jesus, Jesus help me.  So even though I was sedated my spirit was still calling on the Lord knowing how scared I was.

I am giving this example to let you know that the Lord is our strength and He will help you through the hardest times in your life but also just every day trials.

So you can believe exactly what I am saying is true.  Below are some great scriptures telling us how awesome the Lord is and how He gives us great strength.

Psalms 121:2
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!

Isaiah 40:31
I shall renew my strength.  I shall receive God's strength as I wait upon him.  I shall mount up with wings like eagles.  I shall run and not be weary.  I shall walk and not faint.  All this shall happen to me because I wait on the Lord.

Psalms 46:1
God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

1 Samuel 30:6
I strengthen myself in the Lord my God.

Psalms 28:7-8
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, He helps me.  My  heart leaps for joy and with song I praise Him.  The Lord is the strength of His people a fortress of salvation for His anointed one.

Psalms 73:26
God is my strength of my  heart and my portion forever

Psalms 29:11
The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace

We all have times when it seems that satan is getting the best of us.  Sometimes its a little hard to have faith and trust in God when everything is going against us and we are in the middle of a great battle of your life.  It is in those times that we need the Lord more than ever.  It is in those times that our faith in God is really put to the test.

It is easy to live for God and trust him when all is going well.  It is not easy to do when the weight of the world is upon your shoulders.

If your life is in the middle of turmoil and trials and they are about to overwhelm you, look up and ask the Lord to renew your strength and make you strong in him.

May God bless you richly and give you mighty strength and faith to walk greatly through life.

Restoration is Yours

 Restoration is Yours

Have you ever found yourself completely alone.  There was no one to turn to, no one to rely on, no one to help you through situations.  Have you walked away from the Lord?  Are you lost and you don't know how to get back to the Lord.  Are you afraid you have gone to far and the Lord won't forgive you.  I tell you this no matter what you have done the Lord waits to bring you back into His arms.  He wants to restore you.

I can tell you first hand there have been times in my life that I have lost my way with the Lord.  But finally when I remembered who God is to me, how much He truly loves me and that He will forgive me of all my sins I called out His name and He forgave me.  But He did so much more than that, He restored me.

I would like to talk to you today about Restoration and that if you come to the Lord and ask Him to forgive you with all your heart He will restore you completely.

Deuteronomy 30 is a great example of how God restored His people

Deuteronomy 30:1-10

When all these blessings and curse I have set before you come on you and you take them to heart wherever the Lord your God disperses you among the nations and when you and your children return to the Lord your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today, then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you.  Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back.  He will bring you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will take possession of it.  He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors.  The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your soul and live.  The Lord your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you.  You will again obey the Lord and follow all his commands I am giving you today.  Then the Lord your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land.  The Lord will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as He delighted in your ancestors, if you obey the Lord your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in the Book of the Law and turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Have you had times in your life where you are feeling overwhelmed?  That life happenings are just flooding you and your life.

Let me encourage you, don't give up and don't quit.  Its time to pick yourself up, rebuke satan and declare that there is something great about to happen in your life.  You have to ask yourself, am I willing to wait for it?  No matter who devastating or how overwhelmed things might look right now.  God can turn things around and cause God can turn things around and cause the blessings to equally overwhelm youThe blessings can wipe out everything, they truly can. The blessings of the Lord have no respecter of persons.

Deuteronomy 28:2
All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God.

There are times that we think we have missed opportunities or blown chances.  We can look back and think, why did I do those things I did.  We have made some bad decisions and choices in our life which made us miss out on opportunities.  But the good news is that God always has another season in store for you.

Joel 2:25-27
I will repay (compensate) you for the years the locusts have eaten, the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm, my great army that I sent among you.  You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord your God who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people shall never be put to shame.  And you shall know (without any doubt) that I am in the midst of Israel (to protect and bless you), and that I am the Lord your God, and there is no other; my people will never be put to shame.

You probably have gone through things in your life that have you wonder, why am I here?  Job ask the Lord the same question.  Job started praying for his enemies and God turned his whole life around.   He will do the same for you!  I am sure that God can make the rest of your life so rewarding and so fulfilling that it makes up for the lost opportunities in your past.

There are times of restoration. Lets look deeper into Joel 2:25-27

"I will restore to you the years"  It talks about years.  God is saying He wants to restore years that have been stolen from you. Start believing God for everything that satan has stolen from you sevenfold!!!

"You shall eat in plenty" This is your condition immediately after your restoration.  See how your lifestyle will change immediately after God restores everything that life choices have stolen and what the devil has stolen for years.  "You shall eat plenty"  Plenty is that nature of God.  This has been the plan for you and me since the beginning.  It never was the plan of God that we live in the land of not enough but God always intended for us to live in the land of more than enough.

God will make up for your lost time.  Every opportunity you've missed, every chance you've, blown, all those years you may have wasted.

Your latter days will be better than your former days;   So choose to receive it by faith.

God Bless You

You are Chosen

You are Chosen

Good day to you all, hope you are blessed and walking with the Lord daily.

I have been speaking on you are loved and you are valued.  We discussed how much you are loved by the Lord, and that you are the apple of His eye.  We also spoke on how you are valued by the Lord.  How you are worthy and valuable to the Lord God almighty.

Today I would like to discuss the word Chosen. You have been chosen by the Lord. Do you know that? He chose you. You, you were chosen and created by the Alpha and Omega.  He had you in mind when He created the earth.  He had you in mind when He was on the cross. 1 Peter 2:9 sums it all up.

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellences of Him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Definition of the word Chosen:

• chosen out, select, the elect.
• one who is the object of choice or of divine favor :  an elect person

Yes you have been chosen by God. John 15:16 confirms it.  God chose you, you did not choose him.  What an awesome thought, God cares enough about you and me to choose to have a relationship with us.

John 15:16
You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

Why did God set His favor on Israel above all the peoples of the earth?  What was the basis of God calling them, “my chosen” in Deuteronomy 7:6-8 we have the explanation.

Deuteronomy 7:6-8
For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.  The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but because the LORD loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the LORD brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

How exciting the Lord set his love on you and chose you because the Lord loves you.  He loves you because He loves you!  That’s the deepest and ultimate, basis of God’s choosing you.

Below are more scriptures telling you exactly why God chose you and how He loves you.

Ephesians 1:4-5
Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him.  In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will.

Romans 8:28-29
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.  For those whom He foreknew, he also predestined to become conformed to the image of His son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren.

Remember God chose you and created you for His own pleasure and purpose.  When you look at yourself and think about your life, remember the creator loves you, adores you and chose you for His own purpose.

You are LOVED, you are VALUABLE, and you are CHOSEN by the Lord God Almighty.  Why? Because He picked you for His own.

God bless you

You are Valued

You are Valued

Hello my friends hope this post finds you blessed and highly favored.  Hope you are spending time with the Lord on your faith walk with Him.
Today I would like to have a discussion about value, your value.  Do you think you are valued?  How much do you think you're worth?  I'm not talking about your net worth; I'm talking about your self-worth.  If you take a moment and look deep inside yourself do you think you have value? Do you have value as a person?  Do you think you are valuable to someone else?
Let’s look into the definition of the word value so you can have an understanding of the word value.
Definition of Value:
·       Highly regarded or esteemed
·       A valued friend
·       Having value of a specified kind
·       Relative worth, merit, or importance
·       force; significance
·       Liking or affection; favorable regard
·       To consider with respect to worth, excellence, usefulness, or importance
·       To regard or esteem highly
·       Value, worth imply intrinsic excellence or desirability
·       Worth implies especially spiritual qualities of mind and character, or moral excellence
·       Value is that quality of anything which renders it desirable or useful
1 Corinthians 7:23
You have been bought and paid for by Christ, so you belong to him, be free now from all these earthly prides and fears.

Matthew 6: 25-27
Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

1 Samuel 26:24
Now behold, as your life was highly valued in my sight this day, so may my life be highly valued in the sight of the Lord, and may He deliver me from all distress.”
The Lord God says not only are you accepted; you're valuable.  So the Lord, your creator thinks you are valuable and worth something.  What is that something?  For God sent His only Son to die on a cross that we may be saved.
The Bible says, “You have been bought and paid for by Christ, so you belong to him—be free now from all these earthly prides and fears.” (1 Corinthians 7:23 TLB)
You have been bought and paid for by Christ. You belong to Jesus. How much does that make you worth?
Now ask yourself, ‘Who do I belong to?’ The Bible says you belong to God. God exchanged His own Son for you!  The Cross proves your value. Jesus didn't die for junk. You are incredibly valuable. Nobody has ever paid a greater price than God paid for you. You are acceptable and you are valuable!
Here are some scriptures to prove that you are desirable, worth, valued and wanted by God.
Psalms 139:13-15
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
 Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Colossians 3:12-14
But on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience
God knows your value; He sees your potential. Hold your head up high, knowing that God is in control and he has a great plan and purpose for your life.  God stands before you with His arms open wide. He always accepts you. He always confirms your value.  You are His prized possession. No matter what you go through in life, no matter how many disappointments you suffer, your value in God’s eyes always remains the same. You will always be the apple of His eye. He will never give up on you, so don’t give up on yourself.
Remember you are loved and you are valued.  The Father see’s you as a beautiful jewel.  You are the apple of his eye

You are loved

You are loved

Do you know that you are truly loved by your creator the Lord God Almighty?  He created you for his own pleasure.  He longs for a relationship with those whom He created.  A relationship with God is like no other relationship you may have experienced. God has a unique kind of love for you. It is unconditional not based upon meeting certain conditions. God loves you because He loves you.  I have been talking about having a faith walk with the Lord.  This is where it comes from having a relationship with the Lord and walking faithfully with Him on the path He has carved out for you.

1 John 4:9-10
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

He does not love you based upon your performance, what you do and what you don’t do. There is nothing you can do to cause God to love you any more than He already does, and there is nothing that will cause God to love you any less. He loves you, even more than you love yourself.

Until now you have probably only experienced conditional love. Conditional love is based upon what you do. Perform well on the job.  Having conditional love in your family or in the relationship,  Only God loves you with an unconditional love.

In opening your life to Christ, you have found total love and acceptance. That may be hard to comprehend if you’ve never felt totally loved and acceptance by anyone. But it’s true! Unfortunately, you won’t always feel that God loves you. There will be times when you find yourself doubting not only His love, but also His existence. You’ll feel like giving up, but don’t.

Jeremiah 31:3
God says, I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving kindness

We will be walking many miles in life with the Lord.  Some miles may be difficult, hard, but you will also have miles where they are easy and full of joy.  The knowledge that God loves you will keep you going when the next mile seems intolerably long.  This is where your faith in Him will need to rise up and keep you going.

Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our faith rests in what God has revealed about Himself to us. He specifically wants us to believe and rely on His love for us:

Psalms 147:11
The Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love

Psalms 33:18
Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.

King David, whom God referred to “as a man after my own heart”  trusted God’s love:

Psalms 59:16-17
I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. O my strength, I sing praise to you; you, O God, are my fortress, my loving God.

To grow in your understanding of God’s love for you, take some time over the next few weeks and read Psalms 103, John 15, and 1 John 4, and note all the ways that God’s love is described.
May this find you walking faithfully with your Lord.
